Feeling Hungrier Than Usual?

Recently I’ve been feeling a lot hungrier than normal.

Have you?
Are you wondering why??

Let me answer that for you. (No, it’s not a tape worm! hehe)

The primary reason for the extra hunger it is that we still run the same ‘cellular programming‘ that our ancestors did. You see, a long (long) time ago, life was all about hunting, gathering, eating what the land provided. Naturally, you’d only eat what was available.

Enter Autumn…

At this time of year you would have noticed that the fresh fruit and veggie supply is quickly dwindling. Even in this day and age, the foods readily available are the root vegetables, squashes, late harvest fruits and berries. Our ancestors would have also been investing extra energy in hunting, gathering and storing. In our day and age, it is hunting season.

Autumn is the time we intuitively get ready for winter. We’re slowly adding more fats back as the cooler days & nights creep in. Our bodies are doing the right thing, preparing.

Below are your perfect food and cooking choices for this time of year. These foods will feed your intuitive programming, though don’t overdo it! Over eating, even the ideal foods, will add up to extra pounds on the scale. To help counter act that, keep your body moving and keep up with your exercise regime, to meet the extra energy you naturally want to spend if you were hunting and gathering.
